Recipe Dam Biscuits


Recipe ‘Dam’ Biscuits
Preparation time: 2 hours | Cooking time: 20 minutes | Number of Servings: 40 



Ingredients:
  • Ingredients for vanilla dough:
·         100g of butter
·         65g sugar caster
·         1 egg, room temperature and stir well
·         220g of cake flour, sieve
·         1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

  • Ingredients for chocolate dough:
·         100g of butter
·         65g sugar caster
·         1 egg, room temperature and stir well
·         190g flour cake
·         30g coco powder
·         1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence

How to make it:
  1. Ways for vanilla dough:
    1. Beat sugar and butter until flowers and white.
    2. Add in small quantities of eggs and stir well.
    3. Add vanilla essence and stir well.
    4. Put the sifted flour and stir until it becomes soft dough. Cool in the freezer for 30 minutes. Remove and divide into 3 parts.
    5. Add small dough to a 4-faced shape, 1cm thick.

  1. Methods for chocolate dough:
    1. Beat sugar and butter until flowers and white.
    2. Add in small quantities of eggs and stir well.
    3. Add vanilla essence and stir well.
    4. Place the flour that has been sifted with cocoa powder and stir it until it becomes soft dough.
    5. Cool in the freezer for 30 minutes. Remove and divide into 3 parts.
    6. Add small dough to a 4-faced shape, 1cm thick.

  1. How to check cookies:
    1. Sort vanilla-vanilla-vanilla dough.
    2. Sort the chocolate-vanilla-chocolate pieces.
    3. Cool back in the freezer for 30 minutes. Remove and cut the prepared dough just 1 m thick. Make sure to cut it evenly.
    4. Take 3 pieces of chopped dough and arrange overlapping alternately. You will be able to produce 4 sticks of long biscuits and dough.
    5. Rejuvenated for 10 minutes and remove for 1 cm thick cut. Arrange on a baking tray that has been digressed and coated with parchment paper.
    6. Preheat oven at 150° C. Bake biscuits for 15-20 minutes.

Tips:
  • The mixing of this biscuit is very soft, and the purpose of cooling is to make the dough rest and easy to form. When in cold, cookie cuts and will be beautiful and accurate.
